Best Spots to Grab a Bite in Brisbane
Christian Jacques Bakery
Incredible French bakery tucked away under Story Bridge.
Seriously the best blueberry danish ever! Big, fat juicy blueberries on a luxurious bed of crème pâtissière, encased in the lightest, fluffiest pastry. Mouth is watering just thinking about it (and tearing up because we don’t live in Brisbane anymore).
They open and close early, and there’s often a queue.

Medley Kangaroo Point
Fantastic location overlooking the river. We haven’t enjoyed a meal there but it’s the perfect spot for coffee and cake with a beautiful view. Gorgeous place for a wedding or other special event.

NeNe Chicken
The best KFC (Korean Fried Chicken)! This is a fast food chain so there are lots of locations (sadly not in SA yet). They give you plastic gloves so you can keep your hands clean.
Recommend: Nene Dosirak – 6 pieces Wingettes & Drumettes, Korean Black Rice, Kimchi, and Garden Salad (you can choose a flavour, we go for garlic), $14.20

Ramen Champion
Best ramen we’ve ever had! We always run out of noodles but not here… you can ask for an extra two serves of noodles for free.
Their signature Black Champion ramen with flame grilled pork slices and garlic sauce is our favourite.

Woka Woka Sunnybank
Our favourite dish is the dry noodles with wonton, but they have an extensive menu to choose from. Prices are reasonable, service is fast, and food is fresh.
They have six locations, but we have only been to the Sunnybank store.
